Robots learn from what they see. Most of it is staged.
Lab demos and tabletop setups are tidy. Factory work isn't: fabric that bunches and slips, piece-rate speed, crowded benches, and years of practised technique in every fold. That's the data that's hardest to collect.
Real work, real factories, your spec
Access to working factories
Our founder started Solar Citizen, a solar company in Pakistan, in 2019. That work built close relationships with factory owners across the country, especially in garments and textiles. We can open doors that are hard to open from outside.
Recorded to your spec
You tell us the tasks, camera setup, hours and labels you need: head cameras, wrist cameras or sensor gloves. Sessions are kept short so the footage stays good.
Ready to train on
Faces and brand labels blurred, unusable clips removed, and each clip labelled step by step. For example: pick up shirt, align sleeves, fold, place in bag.
Consent comes first
Data built on people's work should be fair to those people. These are the rules we record by.
- Every worker opts in, is told plainly how the recordings will be used, and is paid for their time.
- Sessions are short and voluntary. We never give factories productivity rankings of their workers.
- We record unbranded or own-brand production only, and never in sampling rooms.
- Factories can review and hold back clips before anything leaves the site.
